Body Work & Movement Classes

     Hanna Somatic Education can alleviate pain brought about by injury, repetitive motion strain, habituated postures and emotional stress.  These muscles that have learned to become habitually contracted in response to these conditions, can be restored to their natural state of voluntary control.


    With every one hour session, either body work or movement class, you will also be given Somatic Movements to take home with you.  For as little as 15 minutes a day, these lessons are designed to free yourself from pain and stiffness, while increasing range of motion and improving balance. All movements are simple, easy and gentle.


                        


                  BODY WORK, ONE HOUR SESSION-----$80.00

      You will receive a Personal Assessment, then together we will target your unique challenges using "a soft hands-on technique" from the practitioner, which will help you sense the motor movement of a problem area.  Wear loose clothing to allow freedom of movement.  After the session you will have movements to take home with you that are designed for your challenges. 



    PRIVATE MOVEMENT CLASS, ONE HOUR SESSION----$25.00

      You will receive a Personal Assessment before class, this will  customize a learning program for your unique challenges.  Most of the movements will be on the floor as you are guided through the slow and gentle customized learning program.  For comfort of movement wear loose fitting clothing. 
     After class you will be given movements to take with you to do at home, that will be designed for the challenges that you have.


    GROUP MOVEMENT CLASSES, ONE HOUR SESSION----$15.00

          Movements will be on the floor, wear loose clothing, bring mat.
Movements will be for the total body, all movements are gentle and slow. These movements over time will help free tight muscles, ease pain and give you improve freedom of movement.
